I like it. It is easy to use. Once in a while it will tell me to turn the wrong way on a one way street but other than that it's a good product for the price.
I selected this model because it had loaded maps of Europe and was attractively priced. It works perfectly, and in Europe where you cant even read the signs it is a fantastic help. This is a great value.
I wonder why Garmin did not think of this. This product is a good one. But I hope Garmin would consider adding a feature to its software. This is very handy. I just need to avoid 407 ETR. I was trying to avoid driving on Highway 407 ETR in Toronto.
But then this will disable other toll road in addition to 407 ETR. I own 2 Garmin GPS units and am happy with them. In my case, if I want to avoid 407 ETR, I have to disable "toll road" through setting. But Garmin software does not allow avoiding individual roads. In my Nextar GPS, I can tap on the turn list and then tap to avoid a certain road on the turn list. As a result, the GPS tells me to travel 100 more miles to my destination.
I wish Garmin has something like the Nextar system.
This is an excellent product for the price. Spousal disputes evaporate and you can focus on why you're travelling, not looking at maps. We researched what was available that included maps of Europe as well as the U.S., and had we not have had this device with us on our recent trip to Italy, would still be wandering lost somewhere in Tuscany (actually, not a bad thing.). Seriously, consider this item if you plan to go abroad anywhere. And it works well in the States, too. Can't beat it for the money.
I used this GPS in France traveling into the rural areas and had some problems locating small villages and roads. Also wanted to use it in London but it has trouble finding satelites when you are traveling along streets with very tall buildings. Still a good GPS
